Hello! I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I just wanted to send out a few reminders about this week as there are only two days of school. First, since we do not have school on Friday, students will be allowed to go to open library on Monday or Tuesday morning. Please have the students bring their library books so they can check out new books before the break. Second, we will be having an all school pajama day on Tuesday. A $1.oo donation is suggested to help local families in need this holiday season. Students may bring their slippers and a stuffed animal on Tuesday as well. Please be sure to send tennis shoes for PE and Recess.

Last week the students made a leaf glider. Each student got a paper leaf and 2 paper clips for materials. The task was to fold the leaf and use the paper clips to hold it to make a glider. These were so much fun. I loved seeing all the creative ways the kids came up with to make their gliders.
First grade's field trip to Skate City is tomorrow. We will be leaving the school around 8:15 and returning at 2:15. Below is a list of the lunches for tomorrow. Please remember if you are sending a home lunch to put it into a container that can be disposed of.
